Refund policy
Tree Nursery Cancellation & Refund Policy
At White Oak Orchard, we take pride in providing high-quality wildlife seedlings and ensuring fair allocation of our limited inventory. Because we are selling live plants with a finite supply, our policies are firm to protect both our customers and our nursery operations.
Cancellations
· All seedling sales are final. Orders cannot be canceled once placed.
· Seedlings are allocated to customers in the order that purchases are made. Once your order is confirmed, your seedlings are reserved from our limited inventory.
· Because our trees are often sold out well before the shipping season, cancellations would prevent us from offering those trees to other customers.
Refunds
· We do not offer refunds. All sales are final due to the live nature of our products.
· We do not accept returns of seedlings under any circumstances.
· Orders that cannot be delivered due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer will not qualify for a refund.
We stand behind our seedlings and offer credits under the following conditions:
- Planting Requirements
· Trees must be planted immediately upon arrival following our planting recommendations.
· Seedlings must be protected with a TreePro tube or similar tree tube.
- Dormancy Emergence Guarantee
· If trees are planted properly and fail to emerge from dormancy in spring, you may request a credit.
· Claims must be made after the expected spring emergence period for your USDA hardiness zone.
- Exclusions
· No credits will be issued for seedlings planted outside their recommended planting zones.
· Damage caused by improper planting, lack of protection, drought, flooding, wildlife damage, or neglect is not covered.
- Credit Terms
· Approved credits will be issued toward a future order (no cash refunds).
· Credits must be used within one year of issue and will expire afterward.
Shipping Notes
- All seedlings are shipped during their dormancy window, according to USDA zone-appropriate timing.
- Customers are responsible for preparing their planting sites and ensuring proper care after planting.
