Tree Seedling Shipping Calendar
We currently ship bare-root seedlings to eligible destinations in USDA Hardiness Zones 6–9. We do not ship to California, Alaska, Hawaii or Zone 5.
We ship bare-root seedlings only while they are dormant to support successful transplanting and establishment. Shipping windows vary by USDA Hardiness Zone so seedlings arrive during an appropriate planting period.
Actual shipping dates also depend on tree dormancy, regional weather and conditions in transit. We may delay shipment during extreme cold, severe storms, unseasonably warm weather or other conditions that could place seedlings at risk.

Shipping windows are estimates, not guaranteed dates. All shipments depend on our nursery stock remaining dormant, suitable weather at the destination and safe conditions along the shipping route. Shipping may begin later or end earlier when necessary to protect seedling health.
Customer Planting Notes
Plant seedlings as soon as possible and no later than three days after delivery. Until planting, keep them cool with their roots moist, covered and protected from drying, freezing or excessive heat.
