Property Improvement Bundle
Hybrid Chestnut, White Oak, and Shumard Oak for Wildlife Habitat, Mast Production, and Long-Term Land Value
The Property Improvement Bundle is designed for landowners who want to make a meaningful long-term improvement to their property with a balanced mix of wildlife trees. This bundle includes Hybrid Chestnut, White Oak, and Shumard Oak seedlings, giving you a strong combination of fast wildlife attraction, native oak value, and long-term mast production.
These seedlings are grown in air-pruning nursery beds at White Oak Orchard to encourage dense, fibrous root systems instead of circling roots. A better root system helps improve transplant success, establishment, and long-term growth once planted on your property.
Why Choose the Property Improvement Bundle?
· A balanced mix of chestnuts and oaks for long-term habitat improvement
· Sweet, high-energy chestnuts that are highly attractive to deer and turkey
· White Oak acorns for premium native wildlife value and legacy tree potential
· Shumard Oak for faster native red oak growth, mast production, and land value
· A practical planting mix for food plots, field edges, reforestation, and wildlife corridors
· Strong root systems from seedlings grown in air-pruning nursery beds
What's Included
· 5 Hybrid Chestnut Seedlings: Sweet, high-energy mast that is highly attractive to deer, turkey, and other wildlife.
· 5 White Oak Seedlings: A long-lived native oak known for highly preferred acorns, strong timber value, and legacy tree potential.
· 5 Shumard Oak Seedlings: A fast-growing native red oak valued for wildlife habitat, acorn production, adaptability, and land improvement.
Best Planting Sites
This bundle is best suited for full sun to partial sun locations with well-drained soil. It is a strong choice for food plot edges, old fields, pasture borders, wildlife openings, field edges, open woods, reforestation projects, and long-term habitat improvement plantings.
Hybrid Chestnuts perform best in well-drained soil and should not be planted in areas that stay wet or saturated for long periods. White Oak and Shumard Oak are adaptable once established, but young seedlings will perform best with proper site preparation, weed control, and protection from deer browse.
For best results, protect each seedling with a tree tube and control weeds around the tree during the first few growing seasons.
Wildlife Value
The Property Improvement Bundle gives your land a diverse mast-producing mix that can benefit deer, turkey, squirrels, and other wildlife for decades.
Hybrid Chestnuts can provide sweet, energy-rich nuts that are highly attractive to deer and turkey. White Oaks produce some of the most preferred native acorns for wildlife. Shumard Oaks add another valuable acorn source while offering faster growth and strong adaptability.
Together, these species create a well-rounded habitat planting that supports wildlife attraction, food diversity, and long-term property improvement.
